Let's start with Austin Roswell of Lincoln-Way West HS. It
is not exactly a hotbed for talented speedsters but 48.78 and 21.97 are very
good marks in the 400 and 200 meter dashes for seniors, much less than 10th
graders. If he continues this continuum, only the sky will be the limit.
Caleb Schulz of Oak Park-River Forest leads the state with a
10.60 which came with a tornado like wind behind him of +5.0. He has two other
marks under 11.15 but will need to prove himself again within the next few
weeks against big stages like the WSC Silver Conference and sectionals. Chris Nelson of Herrin and Darren Wilson
Edwardsville are two speedsters from the south who are ready to shine for the
