The York girls contributed mightily to the state's top performances over the 5000m distance.

The 5000m is the standard cross country distance for girls nationwide. However, we traverse the three-mile expedition in Illinois more often than not. Fortunately, we can compete in enough invitationals and out-of-season or out-of-state meets to collect meaningful data for reputable lists.
