It was a very memorable day at the Illinois Top Times meet in Bloomington, IL. Several meet records were broken and a few others threatened. Overall, the intensity level was at a fever pitch throughout the championship.
The frigid climes have cancelled several weekend meets in the greater Chicagoland area and kept the most hearty track and field faithful track fiends in hibernation. For those who choose to trek to Bloomington and compete inside the Illinois Wesleyan University Shirk Field House it is a good choice for sure. It is worth every bit the trip to see some wonderful track and field action.
Saturday morning will open the second section of three at the Illinois Top Times inside the vivacious Illinois Wesleyan University's Shirk Field House. The fields are pretty stout for the boys and girls teams and it will be rocking to say the least.
By the time Friday evening is over things inside the Illinois Wesleyan University Shirk Field House is going to feel like a true championship. Nearly every event is featured by a top athlete... and that is what the Illinois Top Times Indoor Championship is supposed to represent.
