2023 MileSplit IL Team Power Rankings-Week 2


3A Girls

1. Chicago (Kenwood)- The Broncos hold on for week two, the chase pack has inched closer. There are opportunities for Kenwood to hold strong in the coming weeks. 

2. Huntley- Alex Johnson is one of a few in Illinois history to join the 20/40' club indoors. Dominique Johnson is over 40 feet in the triple jump. 

3. Mt Prospect (Prospect)- Those relays are fire! The 4x800m is among the nation's best. Don't sleep on their rising 4x200 and 4x400m. Some individual help has yet to show face. 

4. Homewood-Flossmoor- The Lady Vikings are still good. Opportunities to debut more events are coming. 

5.  Crystal Lake (Prairie Ridge)- Rylee Lydon is showing her versatility on the track and in the field.  Rachel Soukup is a contributor in the 1600 & 3200m. 

6. Normal Community- Basketball is over, Ali Ince's focus is on track now. She goes national this weekend. 

7. Chatham- Glenwood-  Katelyn Lehnen has dropped some early season heat. She takes her show on the road to a national meet this weekend. 

8. Elmhurst (York)- The Lady Dukes will bounce back real soon, don't snooze. Bria Bennis is still a distance running threat.

9. Hinsdale Central- Catie McCabe is the current individual leader here for the Devilettes (800 and 1600m).

10. Chicago (St. Ignatius)- The 4x800m is still strong. Annika Swan is an emerging talent in the distances.
