2022 promises to be a great season for this classification as there are two runners under 17:00 on the dockets. Not pictured or noted in the return category is the return of Tatum David of Olney Richland County. David ran a freshman record 16:04 at the 2019 state championship. David spent two seasons in the state of Florida where she had tremendous success. We are very lucky to have her again.
