2022 Preseason previews: top projected girls relays

4x100m-
2021 Best: Chicago Whitney Young 46.96
3A state champion: Whitney Young 47.24
2A state champion: Peoria Richwoods 49.25
1A state champion: Nashville 49.87
Top returners: Whitney Young, Homewood-Flossmoor, Belleville West, Frankfort (Lincoln-Way East,) Chicago Kenwood, Evanston, Glenbrook South, Rich Township, Dekalb, Geneseo, Peoria Richwoods, E. St. Louis Sr
Breakdown: This event showed Whitney Young at nearly its full powers when the Dolphins ran the only sub 47- second performance of the season at the CPL championships in May. Although they did not replicate this time later in the season, they did hold off Homewood-Flossmoor for the title and graduate only Madison Saunders from that star squad.

HF will be plenty dominant as well on the shoulders of Ana-Liese Torian, Alex Edison, and Angela Alozie. This may be the event that Belleville West runs a state lead, with their full group from 2021 returning headed by hurdle star Macee Rivers.
