Covid-19 played a significant role in the way technical events transpired. Because the official high school season wasn't able to commence until April, there wasn't as much time afforded to detail as in the past. Once the season got going, the extreme weather conditions coupled with the transition to summer plans and summer football or AAU sports mudded things a bit. However, there is always a silver lining above the clouds. 2022 appears like it could be a strong rebound season throughout the field events.
