Like it or not the MILE is the most popular event in track & field. In terms of indoor track, it's an event that has stood the test of time of change from the advent of the metric system to sometimes ruthless meet managers who want to make the sport more "palatable" for the general fan. Sometimes that means the exclusion of distance events. However, the true fans and athletes have an undeniable love affair for the sub-four-minute barrier and that often resonates in us all.
In keeping with the spirit of the Mile race, HOKA has partnered with the Chicagoland Youth United Performance (CYUP) management team to bring a talented collection of runners that will be remembered for a very long time. We now introduce the 12 elite girls and boys mile field!
