The Chicago Public League Championship was one of the best conference meets in the state last year. The 200m was one reason why.

FULL RETURNING LIST
We will see if the boys can match the same energy as the girls regarding talent level in this event. Three of the top four plus a few more are back on the lamb and ready to destroy things in their path.
Without future ado, here we go-
Armond Boulware (Sr., Chicago Kenwood): Top returner with a 21.97 and the CPL champion. Boulware will be a huge cog the Broncos exploits in the relays and title hopes.
Parrish Hartley (Sr., Chicago Kenwood): One of the best short sprinters and long jumpers in the state has hardly got any attention in the deuce. Hartley narrowly lost to teammate Boulware at the city championship; returns as co #2 performer.
Harley Rizzs (Sr., Burbank St. Laurence): He burned the indoor season up in the 60-meter and relays, which may have undercut him in the one-lap affair. Rizz's 21.98 is the the #2 returning mark. He has had some Achilles heel issues during the off-season; hopefully, things will get better soon.
Braylen Anderson (Jr., Dekalb): Tore up the pre-season scene with a state-leading 22.17, already outputting last year's 22.27. Anderson has put the state on notice a month in advance.
Caleb Schulz (senior, Oak Park-River Forest): The hockey season has hindered his indoor marks over the past several seasons. Schulz is an elite junior player. This is his senior season, and according to his coaches, nothing will stop him from having the best indoor season once he puts away the skates.
Zion Morrison (So., Homewood-Flossmoor): Appears to be back with a late preseason roar. Morrison closed down the Misfits Invite with a sizzling 6.88 (60) and ran 22.31 for 200m. Morrison remarked that he is healthy and "ready to take the [sprint] crown back that I had entering high school."
Omar Mims (Sr., Cahokia): The 3A outdoor champion has transferred to 2A Cahokia. Look for him to shine bright there and build the Comanchies back up into prominence.
