FULL RETURNING LIST

We have a great cast of distance runners back, and it projects to be incredibly potent over the next several years. Let's take a moment to highlight the notables.

Mia Sirois (So., Barrington): On her way to becoming the GOAT of distance running in this state. While her legacy is still being written, Sirois has put up incredible numbers. We have seen several amazing performances, including the second-fastest effort over two miles (10:04.11) at the Circuit meet. Sirois was unofficially clocked at 10:00.9 at the 3200m en route. The current US#2 performer is ready to show off at one of the indoor nationals next month.

Isabella Keller (So., Effingham St. Anthony): The state's top returner by time, Keller doesn't contest the longer event much indoors. She will get a fast one at some point before the end of the calendar.

Sundara Weber (Jr., Sandwich): She has been a force for over a month, starting in late December with great efforts. The biggest one is the 10:18.23 two-mile run at the Misfits Invite. Weber will be a dominant force this spring.

Annika Swan (Jr., Chicago St. Ignatius): 

Zoe Carter (Sr., Normal University): Incredible cross country season will yield fast times on the track. The Yale commit has run 11:08.34 in her first meet of the season last month.

Veronica Znajda (Sr., Prospect): Clocked 10:39.50 last winter, and we could see a setup for the outdoor season title flex.

Kate Foltz (Jr., Tuscola): Produced one of the best cross country seasons in IHSA history, which will translate to the track. Foltz opened the 2025 campaign with a 10:50.19 effort at the Misfits Invite.
