Calling a Masterpiece before it has time to mature is an insult. Allison Ince was destined for superstardom after running the mile in 5:00.33 as an eighth grader in 2020 at the Illinois Meet of Champions.
Hailing from Normal Community HS, the one they call "Ali" has never lost an 800m race to a state foe. She holds the all-time mark of 2:03.85.
Ince has a personal best in the 1600m of 4:40.85, and in her tertiary event, the 400m, she is a former state champion, clocking 54.91.
