Overall, the final chapter of the class of 2025 in cross country is still being written. Of the top 20 runners who completed their initial season in 2021, only a handful are still in the midst.
Veronica Znajda, Elena Rybak, Maya Ledesma, Zoe Carter, and Amelie Ojeda are some names not on the map as freshmen.
Scout Storms, the defending 3A state champion, finished second as a freshman; she is in a position to be among the crop.
