3A Boys
1. Naperville (Neuqua Valley)- Senior Austin Belle flashed his speed some more and moved up the individual rankings in the 60 and 200m. Distance runner
2. Plainfield South- Wow, what a show of distance force for the 3A state XC champions. Camyn Viger (Jr) leads the state in the 3200m and is second in the 1600m. The Cougar relays are ranked within 3A, and BJ Sorg plus Ethan Reynoso equals more firepower. A huge leap up the rankings.
3. Homewood-Flossmoor- A quiet week for the Vikings, mainly due to a weather cancellation. The Vikings will rev it up again soon.
4. Oak Park-River Forest- A quiet power team, but they still pack some punches. The Huskies are strong in throws, distance, and sprints.
5. Elmhurst (York)- The state leader in the 4x200m still, Aidan Hill (Sr) is an individual threat. The Dukes will rise over the next couple of weeks.
6. Minooka- The Indians fly under the radar at times, but when they are seen they are dominant in most cases. Their main man is senior Cael Hiser.
7. Normal Community- Alex Sohn (Sr) leads 3A in the Shot Put, while Chris Taylor leads in the high jump, feels like a repeat summary.
8. Chicago (Kenwood) -The Broncos sprint relays showed up at DGS Relays. The 4x400 is IL#2. Individual talent that can contribute.
9. Hinsdale Central -State and national leader in the 4x800, more to come on the national scene. Dan Watcke (Sr) and Aden Bandukwala (Jr)
10. Edwardsville- Malik Allen (Jr) has joined the party in the triple jump. Add him with the likes of Kellen Brnfre (Long Jump) and the Tigers have something. What's to come at the Tiger Invite this weekend?
