2A Girls
1. Kankakee- The champs still remain on top. Naomi Bey-Osborne is dominant. Aniya Lewis, Na'Kyrah Cooks, and Nevaeh Lowe are rounding into form.
2. Chicago (Lindblom)- The Eagles haven't reached their peak yet, but remain strong at #2.
3. Arlington Heights (St. Viator)- Emmi Scales set the all-time 60H record for Illinois. She's the class leader in the 60m and poses a threat in the 200m.
4. Chicago (Latin)- Alice Mihas shot put success boosted the Romans. Mia Kotler leads the class in the 1600 and 3200m run.
5. Burlington Centra- Like a rocket, Paige Greenhagel took off to a classification-leading long jump and a spot amongst the best high jumpers. The Rockets 4x400m is second in 2A currently.
6. Normal (University)- Natalie Bierbaum is a long-distance threat, so far the 3200m is the focus. The relays can produce, while all-stater Anna Barr is a hurdle threat.
7. Springfield (Sacred Heart-Griffin)- The 4x400 leads the classification, while the 4x800m is second. Sterling Scarlette is good in the 400m.
9. Mt. Zion- The Braves lead the class in the 4x800m, and can be a threat in the 4x400m. Brooklyn Kondritz is currently amongst the best pole vaulters.
10. Monticello- Mabry Bruhn can score in the distance event while Rose Talbert is a 400m threat. The Lady Sages 4x800 is currently in the mix. more to come here.
