Overview: Of course, it will start with the national darling Ava Parekh who is ready to truly earn her respect on the big stage. She is the state leader in the mile/two-mile conversion at 4:48.41/10:14.63. It is not certain that she will run the 800, but if so we could witness three All-American honors. Add Josie Welin to the mile mix and Katrina Schlenker to the two-mile carnage and let's see what can be brewed.
Marianne Mihas. Ali Ince and Marianne Mihas will represent a stronghold for the 800m contingent and go for the elusive sub-2:10 mark. Mihas has a personal best of 2:10.95 from a year ago.
Our best field events hope is Jayden Ulrich in the shot put. She has been impressive thus far topping 47-feet on several occasions. There is a possibility that she will walk away with her first national title and a 50-foot effort as a bonus.
