2023 MileSplit IL Team Power Rankings-Week 2


1A Girls

1.  Glen Carbon (Father McGivney)- The Griffins remain on top of the rankings. The middle and long-distance events reign supreme.

2.  Winnebago- The usual suspects of Amanda Gustafson, Grace Erb, and Marissa Roggensack still carry the load.

3.  Rockford ChristianMandy Nelson and shot putters Elle Jones and Sydney Stanfield remain strong. The 4x200m unit leads the classification to control the shot ring

4. TremontCambria Geyer is an individual force.

5.    Tuscola- The defending team champions enter the mix.  Kate Foltz leads the class in the 3200m and can contend in the 1600m. Super Sophomore Lia Patterson is back on the scene, she's a hurdle and open sprint threat. 

6. Eureka- The Hornets can score in all relays, Laurel Munson is a long jump threat.

7.  Newark- It's all Kiara Wesseh, she leads the class in the high jump, second in the 60H, and a 60m threat. 

8.  Golconda (Pope County)Ahry Comer leads the classification in the 800 and 1600m.

9.    Pleasant Plains- The relays are strong led by the class' second-best 4x400m. Anna Weber is a contending high jumper.

10.  Shabbona (Indian Creek)- The pole vault has added Reagan Gibson to the ranks, second in 1A.  Ellie Bend can vault and triple jump. Jolee Larson is still a threat in the 3200m.
