Ryan Burgoon has been a part of some great cross country teams at Barrington High School. He finished 23rd at the state meet as a junior and followed that up with a 12th place showing his senior season. Burgoon boasts personal bests of 9:27.90 (3200m), 14:40.00 (three miles), and 16:09.00 (5000m). Recently, he decided where he will spend the next four years and run on the collegiate level.

Garrett Lee has been an integral piece of Belvidere North's state title runs in cross country. He finished fifth at this year's Illinois State Cross Country Championships. Recently he announced he will be running for the University of Illinois where he will join former Belvidere North teammate Paul Zeman.

Bizzarri's Season Comes to a Close in Belgium Jul 15, 2009

All-American Angela Bizzarri finished fifth in the 5,000 meters at the Belgian Liege with a time of 15:57.23, falling short of the 15:25.00 `B' standard to qualify for the World Championships. After placing third with a personal-best time of 15:33.02 in the 5,000 meters at the USA Championships last month, the Mason, Ohio native needed to break the `B' standard to represent the United States at the World Championships in Berlin, Germany from August 15-23.
