2022 was a great year overall with the state champion Mabry Bruhn of Monticello leading the charge. She dropped a class best of 17:08 on a rain and mud-slopped Detweiller course.
"Sunny" Sundara Weber of Sandwich was poised to take charge after taking second last year, but a classification change has moved her team up to 2A.
Perhaps someone to watch will be Mia Kotler of Chicago Latin who is back in Class A. If she can remain healthy during the post-season, look for her to do some major damage.
The mainstays Louisa Wilson and Ahry Comer will have something to say at the end of the day.
