Outlook: The pandemic may have played a significant role in this event experiencing perhaps the lowest barometer since its inception. There was only one team under 1:28.00 last year. Many coaches indicated that participation numbers and practice time was limited. This has a direct correlation to the relays because depth is important in obtaining fast times. Minooka and Homewood-Flossmoor are teams that will be in the mix this spring.
