Outlook: The crown jewel of distance relays had a rough time last year. There were no teams in the top 20 nationally and only four in the top 50. Now with a full school season and the normalcy, we should have more than a handful of times in the 7:40s and on the national consciousness. Hinsdale Central could be the best team on the strength of the great Dan Watcke. And there are the traditional powers: Neuqua Valley, York, Lyons Twp, and Sandburg lurking. Keep in mind that there is always someone left out or surprises in this event.
