Winnebago- The top distance unit from the cross country season is back and ready to win a team state title. It isn't very often that distance running is front and center leading a classification ecosystem. The Indians happen to loaded in the events that matter to them. There is Grace Erb, Katie Erb, Natalia Martino, and Renee Rittmeyer who ran on the sectional leading 4x800m. Martino doubled back in the 1600m and won that. Grace Erb is in the open 800m and Kaylee Woolery will be fresh for the 1600m. The 3200m will have Sophia Martino. The 4x200 and 4x400 relays are strong. Let's see if any bonus points will come from the field events. They are there for the taking.
