Invitational
COVID Protocols
We understand that many people have many different views on the
current situation. While attending our Invitational, we kindly ask all to
respect the protocols that have been put in place while attending our Track
& Field meet.
Areas for camps:
- We
will have an area in a practice football field for you and an area for
your athletes to watch some action in the Visitor Bleachers. Please police
your athletes and remind them of the importance of wearing masks and
socially distancing. There are still a lot of eyes out there just waiting
to jump on people/schools that do things wrong. I don't want that
attention
Spectators:
- I
do not think too many spectators for a single athlete has been a huge
issue. - All
spectators must be masked at all times. - Spectators
should remain socially distanced from other spectators. We have brand new
bleachers on the Home Stretch. I do not want to assign parents seats.
Please just remind all your parents to spread out. There is plenty of
space. - Running
Events - Spectators should remain in the bleachers. No standing along
the fence near the track. - Field
Events - Please keep back a minimum of 12 feet from the field event area
and avoid close contact with athletes. - Please
respect gated and blocked areas and follow instructions on site. - Restrooms
will be available for spectators. Port-a-johns behind home bleachers.
Concessions have some on the Southside of the building. Also some located
behind the Visitor bleachers.
Track:
- Teams
can warm up shortly after they arrive as a team if they'd like. Once
warm-ups are over, please make sure your athletes do not enter the Track
area until 30 minutes prior to their event. I'd like the infield as clear
as possible throughout the meet. - I
will have two designated entry gates for athletes and two designated exit
gates. They will be shown on the map.
