Thoughts: The biggest and most important meet for the Chicago Catholic League will be one to watch.
The face of the league is Aurora Central Catholic superstar senior Patrick Hilby. His team is a newcomer to the
CCL, and that is great news. Hilby has starred on the big stage nationally since last spring, and just last
weekend, he won the 800m indoor national title at New Balance. He is slated to compete in four events (4x8,
4x4, 800, 1600). If this is the case, don't expect him to demolish the competition in the open events. Rather, it will be survive and move on to the next event. However, work may be needed in the relays; St. Ignatius and Loyola Academy will provide some spark there.
