Comments: The Vikings have been too fast to catch up to this point. Most damage has been done via the speed events, with some aid from Luis Flores. East St. Louis and Aurora Central Catholic hold the same position as the previous rankings. Kenneth Buchanon and the Flyer jumpers had a good past two weeks. So did Patrick Hilby, who led the nation in the 800m (1:48.47). Antonio Mack is in the hurdles, and the Mascoutah Indian squad appears to be trending in the right direction at this point in the season. It's conference week; expect more top performances from many of these teams.
