2024 MileSplit IL Team Power Rankings-Week 3

Comments

After two weeks of performances, this classification had a lot of movement. Winnebago takes over the top spot for this week's rankings. Supreme Muhammad leads the class in the 60 and 200m, and Brandon Wiggan leads in the Triple Jump along with the 4x200m.

Tuscola moves towards the top on the strength of their distance events. Will Foltz and the Warriors performed well at the Central Illinois High Performance Classic, like many other teams? Josiah Hortin and Jackson Barrett are the top contenders in the 1600 and 3200m, respectively.

Pleasant Plains is another program that had an excellent past two weeks, moving up two spots. The relays (4x400 & 4x800m) are amongst the top in the class. Elijah Teefey offers great contributions in the distance events, and Danny Skelton in the hurdles.

The Saints of Bloomington Central Catholic remains in the top five. Pole vault ace Isaiah Whitaker is one of the nation's best. TJ Larson controls the hurdles, and the team relays are rising.

Maroa-Forsyth crept into the top five for this week. Brady Larson leads the class in the short hurdles, and the Trojan sprint relays are competitive and capable of getting better. As conference season has arrived for many, expect more changes.
