Comments: Wow, things are very close here in 3A at this
early point in the season. After Power Weekend, the Dukes quality performances
up to this point puts them on top of the rankings. Texas ex Brady Golomb has
been a big addition up to this point in the distance events. York's relay teams
are all of quality in addition to Gavin Schaerin
the pole vault. Kenwood had a good power weekend filled with quality
performances to add on to what they have done up to that point. Parrish Hartleyis
the reigning long jump state champion, he currently leads the state in that
event. The Bronco sprint relays are of quality led by the class leading 4x200m.
Neuqua Valley is well rounded team, an approach they used to Clash at the
Coliseum and return home with the top trophy. Cooper McGinnis (60H)
and Zac Close in the
distances events are individual leaders along with Daniel Robinson. The
Wildcat relays has quality as well. Vince Davero is
jumping wild! He leads the state in the triple jump and is highly rated in the
long jump. Ryan Eddington brings great quality from
the distance events to boost the Trojans. New Trier leads the state currently
in the 4x800m with opportunities to go faster. Ben Crane has been unleashed individually in the
distance events, he has the second best 1600 and 3200m performances
within the classification up to this point.
