Comments: The Lions have been Royal as we reach the end of the season's first month. Weston Forward leads the class in the 3200m, and is a threat in the mile. The Royal Lions quarter mile relay leads the class, while their 4x8 is near the top, Rockford Christian is strong in the middle distances. Winnebago isn't far from Rockford in miles or in these rankings. Supreme Muhammad leads the classification in two individual events (60 & 200m), and is a member of the class leading 4x200m. Brandon Wiggan offers some triple jump excellence, along with Nicolai Martino in the 1600m. Isaiah Whitaker is used to air time so the class leader in the pole vault shouldn't be surprised his team flew into the top three. The Saints have a nice collection of field event contributors in addition to high rated relays (4x200 & 4x400m). North Shore Country Day'sOwen Keyt has been on fire at this point of the season, he leads the class in the 1600m in addition to next best in the 3200m. Brian Smith has brought great value to the Raiders along with the squad relays. Pleasant Plains mode of attack early on has been the relays, expect the unit to display some of their individual talent as this next month rolls on.
