Camyn Viger (Jr., Plainfield South) continues his hot streak and winning ways by taking the Palatine Meet of Champions with a time of 14:43. The loaded field featured some of the state's top harriers and the top runner from the state of Kentucky Sami Hattab (Sr., Louisville St. Xavier)

"Alex" Alexander Krieg (Fr., Palatine) continues to dazzle the state's top undercard races by winning the Palatine Invitational MOC Frosh-Soph 2.5 mile race in 12:41. Krieg who ran 15:12 in the three-mile recently took down the meet record and won by 16 seconds.

Nicholas Strayer (Jr., Lyons Township) had to deal with hardship before the start of the Culver Academies Invitational in Indiana. The Lions had some internal travel issues that would affect most runners but not Strayer who took second in the 5000m, running 15:55. The winner was OH #2 Isaac Schachleiter (Sr., Mason OH) in 15:44.

Gavin Genisio (Jr., Benton) continues his weekly rise which enabled his team to win the Freeburg Invitational. Genisio broke 15:00 for the first time this season with a time of 14:55.

Zachary Balzer (Sr., Minooka) competed in his first 5K of the season and won the Macnider Invitational in 15:32. Balzer held won by 21 seconds over Tommy Nitz (So., Huntley).
