Grace Schager (Sr., Glenbard North) continues to amaze and dazzles us all after another huge performance, this one was at the Richard Spring Invitational hosted by Peoria Notre Dame High School. Schager closed all of the exits on her competition with the first mile in 5:19 on the fabled Detweiller Park course. She would go on to win by almost a minute in 16:07 (#2 all-time in meet annals). In addition, Schager's time was about 45 seconds better than last weekend's FTTF merge best. In other words, Schager may be from another planet.

Hadley Ferrero (So., Crystal Lake Central) stays undefeated with a quality win at the Larry Eddington XC Invitational hosted by Kaneland. Ferrero zipped past Louisa Diamond (Sr., Benet Academy) among other talented runners in 17:47.

Tessa Bowers (So., Shelbyville)- Slowly creeping up the charts with good all-around performances this month. Bowers returned with a big win at the Tuscola Classic over some of Class A runners in 18:01.

Isabella Gonzalez (Sr., Crystal Lake South) took on all challengers at the Bill Dawson Invite (Blue Devil Invite) hosted by Warren HS. Gonzalez dashed to victory in 17:51- nine seconds better than Mia Pasha (Sr., Warren).

Breanna Burak (Sr., Huntley)- One half of the Burak contingent who has energized the Huntley distance program. Burak took another step toward stardom after winning the overall title at the Minooka Flight Invitational in 17:57.
