-Top-rated Lincoln-Way East performed well at Top Times despite not being fully loaded. Star Mariam Azeez did not compete nor did its all-purpose athlete Sophia Barnard. The 4x200 and 4x400 relays competed but it was more of a "B" outfit. The 4x800 did earn a medal by placing fifth. The big stinger was Jaiden Knoop (So) tieing in the pole vault standings at 12-1.75. She is officially a state championship contender.
Huntley is very dangerous with the Johnson sisters Alex and Dominique, especially in the triple and long jumps. They can sprint a little too with the 4x200 relay.
