REGISTRATION IS STILL OPEN!

Gately Track & Field Center will again be the site of another great event. The Meet of Champions will make a return back to the Windy City and with it some tremendous firepower! It will take place on Saturday, March 5.

1. Competition breeds competition and there will be plenty of it to choose from.

2. The Gately facility is second to none and expects to bring many athletes joy by presenting them personal or seasonal bests.

3. History could possibly be made. A collection of great girl's distance talent is going after two all-time records regardless of all-star status. There are national record holders, state record holders, and just a ton of great all-around talent.

A) The Distance Medley Relay [DMR] prep record is held by a high school team. It's 11:34.54 by Lake Braddock, Virginia. Juliette Whittaker (Maryland), Roisin Willis (Wisconsin), Ali Ince (Illinois), and Mia Cochran (Pennsylvania) will tackle 1200, 400, 800, 1600 meter legs.

B) The 4x1 Mile Record is rarely contested unless on the big stage. The college of greatness will feature Ava Parekh (Illinois), Willis, Riley Stewart (Colorado), and Caroline Wells (Florida). They will be chasing the sub- 20:00 barrier.

4. There will be a professional 800m field to take part in ----> HERE
