Indoor track and field as a whole has been booming across the country and in Chicago, it's been wildly successful from the youth and high school spectrum. Now it appears as though the collegiate ranks have gotten in on the action too.
The University of Wisconsin hosted two meets: 1) The Badgers Big 10 Invite and; 2) The Badgers Windy City Invitational. The latter was action-packed from the moment it started. Top notched competitors from the hosts along with the University of Arizona, Michigan State University, Tulsa University, the Unversity of Michigan, the University of South Florida, Purdue University, and Howard University. There was also an Olympian participating such as Zach Zimek and professional athletes from Hanson-Brooks TC. Indiana University sent a few unattached athletes who made a tremendous impact in the final standings.
