What to look for:
Ben Crane (Sr., New Trier) is slated to lead the charge in the 3200m for the first time this season. Behind him will be Evan Parker (Sr., Niles North) and Evan Nosek (Sr., Kaneland). The meet record of 9:07.87 by Camyn Viger of Plainfield South is undoubtedly expected to be challenged.
Enijel Shelton (Sr., Evanston)- Top dog in the shot put and one of the key names in the field events, already heaving the ball over 55'.
Daniel Robinson (Sr., Naperville Neuqua Valley)- Top dog in the long jump and 60m. He is also entered in the 200m as one of the favorites. We could see something special pop off over the course of the track and field meet.
Eight runners entered in the 800m with seeds under 2:00, including long-distance ace Dylan Maloney (Sr., Plainfield South) and middle-distance standout Owen Horeni (Jr., Yorkville).
