Breakdown: There are nearly 20 returners over twenty feet which may signal a healthy sign for the upcoming season. Shapiro has the top mark at 23-3.5 but he only finished 7th in the 3A state meet. Jake Mackowiak placed second in 3A last spring by a quarter-inch and he has been perhaps the most consistent jumper with marks over 22-feet. That should bode well when the pressure is tight. Bryson Wilson placed fifth in 2A and he appears to be the favorite.
