Future Star: Symone Frison is on the rise

The precocious all-around track star Symone Frison is eager to have a great season

She has been competing for quite some time but many didn't notice. "I think I can go 11.9 my sophomore year," said a then-freshman Symone Frison after leading her mates to two all-state anchor performances last June in Charleston. She obviously plans on being a force in the 100m this year. Now, it's the emerging star from Chicago Lindblom High School via the Hounds and Foxes Track Club that we all need to keep a keen eye on.

Frison has not wasted a second in getting things started in 2022 with a festive schedule. Frison has competed in the 60H, 60m, and relays. Though Frison is a novice in the hurdles, she is ranked sixth in the early portion of the state at 9.68. It's the 60-meter dash that's most telling for Frison who leads the state in 7.77 after winning at the Dr. Conrad Worrill Invitational.

Again the season is in the very early stages but the arrow is trending up for Symone Frison.
