2021 MileSplit IL Power Rankings: Boys Post Conference Meets

The narrative:  Gibson City remains where they were last week, at number one. That is an envious spot to be in for the Falcons who currently own classification leading marks in the 100m (10.58) and  200m (22.39) by Aidan Laughery , 110H (14.77) and 300H (39.02) hurdle races by Isaiah Chatman, the 400m (50.62) by Awstace Grauer and finally the top time in the 4x400m (3:29.55).

Harvest Christian remain in the second spot, as we enter the state series the Lions have some decisions to make on how use their crew. Matt Olech leads the classification in the 3200m (9:03.41), 1600m (4:18.42), and 800 (1:56.53)  does that mean he will triple? They have the top 4x800m (8:10.12), will he run that instead of the 3200m? Those questions will be answered this week.

Pickneyville holds strong, they offer firepower in all four relays to go along with big points from Dre Scott in the high jump (6'6) and triple jump (44-5).

Hayden Knott, the classification leader in the Shot Put (56-2) and Discus (176-2) , is doing his part to keep the Spartans of St. Joseph-Ogden in the hunt, what more do they have in the tank?

Maroa-Forsyth leads the charge in two sprint relays (4x100/4x200m) and have contributions from Ben Gilbert (100m & 200m) to remain a late season trophy threat. Its sectional week, all ten teams remain the same as last week, but do not be surprised if postseason track rattle these rankings next week.
