East St. Louis wins the 2019 4x100 state title by the slimmest of margins over Carbondale 47.41-47.51.
This season the Flyerettes lose some crucial title pieces but as always they seem to reload very quickly. Interestingly enough, the Flyerettes were the only team in the state to earn all-state honors in all four relays. They will be fine as the season progresses. The relays, in general, will be very fun to track and root for throughout the state.
