Breakdown: Tiera Robinson-Jones has always been good in this event, but it feels like she has yet to bust out her best performance. The humble University of Minnesota signee showed this past summer that she may be next to join the 40ft club in Illinois after popping off a career-best jump (39'10.25) to go along with her multiple 39ft jumps indoors.
The 2A state record is 40'3 set by Imani Carothers, will it be taken down? There are some girls in this field who are chomping at the bits to achieve personal bests and challenge for an individual title.
Bianca Hudson showed major improvements as she entered the championship season. The all-state athlete's confidence should be high entering 2020.
Same for Morgan Pilate who is relatively new to the event, look for her to come back more seasoned. Many girls here have the ability to climb the podium rankings, how far the climb is the question?
