Inclement weather has certainly not been kind to the Chicagoland area this Spring, especially in the Lockport region where canceled or postponed activities have been like scheduled events on the schedule. Let's hope for the sport's sake that we can get this one in.
What to look for:
Don't look for Marcellus Moore of Plainfield North. The junior superstar has been ailing for several weeks now with a sore hamstring. He will sit this one out and it will impact the Tigers 4x100 and 4x200 relays.
Jadon Conroy (Sr., Huntley) will try and improve on his 1600m best of 4:17.19. He will be the big favorite. His teammate Ian Geisler has broken 2:00 in the 800m and will be shooting for a sub 1:57 effort.
John Bickel (Jr., Andrew) is a person of interest in the 100 and 200. His later time 21.98 is something that fans don't want to miss.
Kyle Burke (Sr., Plainfield North) is coming on as of late in the 110HH. He is closing in on the school record and has a personal best of 14.56. Mychah Spells (Jr., Andrew) will be ready for the rematch against Burke. They competed at the Winston Brown Invite several weeks ago.
Lockport has a seed time of 3:21.24 in the 4x400 will be challenged hard because of junior Kyle Langellier has clocked 49.44 in the 400m this season.
