There are not many girls that are as versatile as Serena Bolden is. The senior from Springfield Southeast High School has been a leading force in the sport of track & field since her freshman year. Though she has yet to nab a state title (primarily because of the human blockades Imani Carothers (Brooks Prep) and Erika Furbeck (Geneseo), Bolden was one of the elite jumpers in the country for the 2018 outdoor season. The phenom leaped 20-2.5 and 41-7. The latter was achieved in picking up a national title during the summer at USATF Junior Olympics. Bolden can sprint too. She is currently leading the state in the 60m with a smoking 7.57. More is in store for 2019 for the Louisiana State University (LSU) signee. Check out exclusive and candidate chat with Serena after a LONG DAY at the recent Gene Armer Invitational.
