Dylan Jacobs (Fr., University of Notre Dame/Sandburg HS)

Jacobs was a top ten distance runner of all-time during his tenure at Sandburg high school. The former Eagle was a Foot Locker National Champion, a 1600m state champion, and a two time 4x800m state champion. After a cross-country season that saw him redshirt for the year, many wondered how Jacobs would respond? It pretty obvious that he responded great as part of the Irish's DMR which is ranked first in the NCAA. This will mark the first national championship he will compete at. With high school foe now turned teammate in Danny Kilrea gaining all-American honors this past xc season, expect Jacobs to do anything he can to tie up the honors and maybe even top him with a national championship.
