2018 Power Team Rankings Opens Outdoor Ready Or Not

3A Boys-

Opening statement: Light work or heavy work does not have any effect on the top two teams here. HF and NV had been going at it throughout the indoor campaign. Expect this two teams to vie for supremacy during the month of April. They were able to get the jump on the rest of the field by traveling out to California in separate warm weather trips. As the weather begins to thaw back home, we will see the sprints and jumps break even with the distance events. The top ranked Vikings strength is speed but they may have a 4x800 relay that could make some noise in the interim... Crete-Monee should continue their run from the Top Times into the outdoor season. Lockport will be led by superstar thrower John Meyer who will add the discus to this tool bag. Plainfield North and Marcellus Moore will have some say as well. Several more speed events aid the Tigers cause... the best of the rest packs some serious punch as well. Minooka has Brandon Adams, Huntley is strong in several areas such as distance and speed. Hoffman Estates has the defending state champion Declan Rustay. He is a sleeping giant! Danville could be a threat coming out of central Illinois.
