Watch Dajour Miles blast the competition in the girls 15-16 400m semis

Thursday was not a particularly good day for Dajour Miles. "Cinnamon" as most of those close to her calls her, did not make the 200m final. Miles, a rising junior star at West Aurora High School, looked flat and was only to produce a 25.15 effort. But now the 400m is Miles' top event and she happens to be the defending champion of the 15-16 age group in which she won in 53.98. Miles looked smooth in her prelim running a relaxed 55.68 to lead all finalists.
