Riley Wells (So., Rockford Christian)- Had already been dubbed as one of the best track athletes in Rockford Christian history has now positioned himself for an Illinois takeover. Wells enjoyed a super state championship in which he drag netted two gold medals. The first was the 800m where his 1:52.84 ringer was Illinois #1 for about 10 minutes. It took a US#3 1:49.91 clocking by Chris Conrad (Sr., O'Fallon) to overtake Wells. Wells still ranks IL#2 and US#1 sophomore here. He also anchored his team's 4x4 with a 50.5 split.
