Naperville North traveled north to Minnesota and won the national blockbuster Roy Griak Invitational which featured several nationally ranked squads. The Huskies solidified themselves once again as the leading candidate to win the state championship; Palatine Invite kept the home state buzzing all weekend long with many top squads dueling for supremacy. The rankings situation was shook up a bit because of the power contained at Deer Grove East Forest Preserve.
