2024 MileSplit IL Team Power Rankings-Week 2

1A Girls

CommentsBy a slim margin, Maroa-Forsyth takes the top spot over Father McGivney. Klaire Eighner in the distance events and Makhiya Stephen are vital contributors, along with Katherine Nilles in the hurdles and sprints. Newcomer R'Legend Hamilton is a welcomed addition. Father McGivney's relays have been strong at this early point. Returning all-stater Elena Rybak leads the classification in the 800m to aid. Newark has firepower with Kiara Wesseh, IL, and class-leading pole vaulter Tess Carlson. Isabella Keller is back on the scene and leading the class in the 1600m to boost St. Anthony. Virden (North Mac) 4x200m relay leads the class, Emma Crawford offers a significant boost in the 60m, 60H, and Long Jump. Expect more shifting between now and the subsequent ranking drop.
