Kaylee runs away from the field and takes down another course record. Her grandfather would be very proud. Emily shocks her father and comes over the rise still hanging onto second, but with Brooke Wolfe looking ready to pounce. With her dad's calm and understated words of encouragement, Emily once again shows a decent kick and holds off Brooke for second. Almost as shocking was Megan coming over the rise right behind the terrific runner for Assumption (KY). Megan buried the poor girl with a monster kick for fourth place. Austen finished well, while Allie and Caroline rounded out the scorers for Maine South. Emma followed close behind Caroline, with Maddie running a fine race considering her inability to train at all for a number a weeks. Next up: Wheaton North Flighted Invite!
