Meet Information

Teams: Girls: Burlington Central, Dundee-Crown, Geneva, Jefferson (Rockford), Larkin (Elgin), McHenry, St. Charles North, West Chicago

Entries are due on Thursday, April 14h by noon.

Workers: Each school will be assigned a field event, or a curve judge position. The
assignment will be emailed to you a week prior to the meet
Check-in: 8:00 to 8:30.
Please pick up coaches packet in the building north of the
finish line. Scratches will be done at this time as well.
Weigh-in: 8:15 to 8:45. All throwing implements will be weighed AT THE FINISH
LINE.

Scratches: All scratches will be made in the building just south of the finish line.

Field Events
HJ Opening height will be determined at the coaches meeting. The
individual's best effort will be added to the other 3 competitors of
the same team to determine a winning relay. Individual awards will
not be awarded, but a meet record setting throw/jump will be
recognized on the individual level.

LJ/TJ/SP/DT Four jumps/throws allowed per competitor. The individual's best
effort will be added to the other 3 competitors of the same team to
determine a winning relay. Individual awards will not be awarded,
but a meet record setting throw/jump will be recognized on the
individual level.

PV Opening height will be determined at the coaches meeting. Pole
vault entry cards must be presented to the pole vault judge. The
card must have the vaulter's current weight and the coach's
signature. All poles to be used must be inspected and approved by
the Head Judge prior to warmups and competition. Pole inspection
will take place at the event site. VAULTERS WILL NOT BE
WEIGHED. Coaches will be responsible for ensuring their
vaulters are safe. The individual's best effort will be added to the
other 3 competitors of the same team to determine a winning relay.
Individual awards will not be awarded, but a meet record setting
throw/jump will be recognized on the individual level.

SCORING
Six places will be scored in all divisions. Awarding of points will be 10-8-6-4-2-
1 for all relays.

AWARDS
The Girls and Boys Varsity divisions medals will be awarded for first, second and
third places. Ribbons will be awarded for 1st

rd places in the Boys F/S and Girls
JV divisions. Awards will be placed in envelopes and can be picked up after the
meet. Please check for accuracy before leaving Geneva High School.

SURFACES
" spikes or rubber shoes only on the track. Discus and shot put circles are
concrete -only flat sole shoes allowed. We will furnish starting blocks. Please
use cut tennis balls as takeoff marks or check points. No tape or chalk marking
on the track, runways, or high jump apron.

BUS PARKING
Buses should be parked along the South side of Gray Street in the grass parkway.
All team campsites must be outside of the lower fence surrounding the track.

RUNNING EVENTS: Order- Girls JV, Boys F/S, Girls V, Boys
V. We will strive to give a first call (15 minutes), a second call (10
minutes), and a last call (5 minutes) for all events.
