DuPage Valley Conference 2007

Just like in college football, where six major conferences make up the majority of top teams in the land, in Illinois, four conferences make up the majority of the top ranked teams in AAA.  With ten of the top fifteen girls teams, and twelve of the top fifteen boys teams, the DuPage Valley Conference, West Suburban Conference, Mid-Suburban League and Upstate Eight Conference dominate AAA cross country.  Here are their conference previews.

Two of the top five boys teams, and three of the top five girls teams, went head to head Friday night in Wheaton, IL.  In the boys race, US ranked Naperville North lost to IL #5 Wheaton North 26-34 in a very close match-up that went man to man.
