      1. "Sunny" Sundara Weber (Jr., Sandwich) wins 16:50, right from the gun.

      2. Who stood out?

        1. Ray: Welcome to the trophy race, Boylan Catholic. St. Francis is shorthanded due to flag football. Washington will improve. Naz has a freshman. Chatham-Glenwood is still #1.

    4. 2A Boys

      1. Evan Nosek (Sr., Kaneland), Cuyler Swanson (So) go under 15:00 (14:52-14:55).  Freshmen boys 12, 13, 14 (Micah Weiss, Quaid Berger, Carson Kaiser)- Chicago Latin

      2. Latin wins, three seniors and

    5. 3A Girls

      1. Barrington duo controls from the start; Maya Ledesma of Minooka catches Scout Storms of Barrington for 2nd. Mia Sirois of Barrington prevails- 17:03. 

      2. Who stood out?


        Naperville North is back on track, in the hunt with Shania Tandon in the open. Amelie Ojeda of Willowbrook is in the middle of the 'DGN' pack again. New Trier Wheaton North is good, but Yorkville is shaky. Barrington team has three freshmen in the top 6.

    6. 3A Boys

      1. Ben Crane (Sr., New Trier) was ridiculous at 14:26, and Evan Parker (Sr., Niles North) surprise 2nd at 14:37. Downers Grove North breezes.

      2. What stood out?


        Lots of shorthanded teams. Fremd capitalizes. PN depth superior to Plainfield South. New Trier, Edwardsville

    1. DGN Packs it up, Prospect v shorthanded (Peterson, Franzen, Laba DNF)

      1. Ray: very conservative tactics will need to evolve throughout the season. 17:50 is far back for Lily Eddington (Downers Grove North for a fifth placer. Freshman Karlin Janowski is the real deal; next week at the state course will be revealing. Schaumburg is good!

  3. Boys Varsity

    1. Wheaton South's Josiah Narayanan- 14:31 is a ridiculous course record

    2. Chicago Lane Tech wins 68-78 over Wheaton South (15-ish seconds). 4 runners from 9th to 14th. Young team
